SIMTEC Exhibiting at The MD&M West Show

SIMTEC will once again be an exhibitor at the Medical Device & Manufacturing (MD&M) West Show, 2/11 – 2/13/2020 in booth #1260. This is one of the largest and best shows in the U.S. for engineering, manufacturing and procurement professionals in the medical, healthcare, mother and child care and life science markets.

SIMTEC Expands Tooling Capabilities

With the addition of state-of-the-art equipment, and a skilled tooling and maintenance team, SIMTEC has reduced turnaround times for routine mold maintenance and repairs, and has maximized production uptime.

SIMTEC Head of Engineering to Present at 2019 LSR Executive Conference

Calvin Pendorf, Head of Engineering at SIMTEC Silicone Parts will be a featured speaker at the upcoming 2019 LSR Conference. With SIMTEC recognized as a pioneer and leader in precision LSR injection molding, and their recent addition of a unique, smart-design class 8 clean room, Mr. Pendorf was asked to share his knowledge and insight with 2019 LSR Conference attendees.

SIMTEC Adds Smart Clean Room
Innovative clean room design for custom medical device manufacturing

SIMTEC Silicone Parts, a US-based leader in LSR and LSR multi-shot injection molding, has added a Class 8 Clean Room to respond to demand from its life science customers. According to Frank Dilly, SIMTEC’s Managing Director, “Medical device OEMs like our highly automated technology and have requested we add a clean room to our production.” SIMTEC’s ISO Class 8 Clean Room features a smart layout with material staging and tool change occurring outside the clean room. Parts from fully-automated 1-shot and 2-shot lines are robotically removed and transported within a controlled enclosure and delivered into the clean room for inspection, post-curing and bagging. The design and infrastructure in place also allows for quick expansion and growth.
